COLUMBUS, Ohio — The body of a baby girl was found buried inside a shallow grave in north Columbus on Monday, and her teenage parents were arrested and charged in connection with her death.
Officers with the Columbus Division of Police were called to the 4000 block of Karl Road after receiving a report of an infant being buried on the property.
Police said officers were led to a grave where the body of an infant girl was found. She was pronounced dead by the Franklin County Coroner’s Office. It’s unclear how the infant died.
During their investigation, homicide detectives were led to a residence in the 600 block of South Oakley Avenue on the city’s west side.
