LAHAINA (HawaiiNewsNow) - King Kamehameha III Elementary is closed on Tuesday due to brush fire impacts.

The closure is out of an abundance of caution due to the brush fire that broke out Monday night.

With the Kapalua fire currently at approximately 80% containment, the closure will allow for a full inspection of the campus to assess any impacts from smoke exposure.
