Federal authorities have arrested two Massachusetts men in connection with an explosion at Harvard University’s Boston medical campus, which they determined was intentional over the weekend.
Massachusetts U.S. Attorney Leah Foley is set to announce details about the two arrests at 1 p.m., according to her office.
Special agents and officers with the FBI Boston Joint Terrorism Task Force and Harvard University Police Department partnered to make the arrests, according to authorities.
Harvard University Police Department sent an officer to the Goldenson building at 220 Longwood Ave. in Boston to check on a fire alarm there that triggered just before 2:50 a.m. Saturday, according to a university statement.
