MUNCIE, IN — A Veterans Day service will be at 9 a.m. on Tuesday, Nov. 11, at the Vietnam Veterans Memorial in Heekin Park.

The event will be hosted by the United Veterans of Delaware County.

Another Veterans Day ceremony will be that day at Beech Grove Cemetery. That event in the cemetery's American Legion section will begin at 11 a.m.

The federal holiday honors veterans of the U.S. Armed Forces. It also marks the 107th anniversary of the end of World War I.
