CHATTANOOGA, Tenn. (WDEF) — Middle Valley Road will be closed between Gann Road and Thrasher Pike on Thursday, November 6, from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. and from 7 p.m. to 2 a.m. to accommodate utility installation work.

A detour will be in place, directing traffic along Thrasher Pike, N. Dent Road, and Gann Road.

Residents within the closure area will have access to and from their homes.

Emergency services will also maintain access but will be required to follow the detour route.

Motorists are encouraged to plan alternate routes, expect minor delays, and use caution when traveling near the work zone.
