SHEBOYGAN – A cruise line traveling around Lake Michigan next summer will stop in Sheboygan along the way.

American Cruise Lines’ American Patriot cruise ship, built in 2025, will stop in the city four times in 2026 on the Lake Michigan & Upper Peninsula cruise line, one of the company's three Great Lakes cruises.

“This is another great example of Sheboygan’s beautiful waterfront and marina being one of the city’s greatest assets,” Director of Planning and Development Taylor Zeinert said in a news release.

Passengers on the nine-day, eight-night cruise will start their journey in Milwaukee, travel up the western side of Lake Michigan and stop in Sheboygan on day three of the trip, according to the trip itinerary .

The American Patriot will then make its way north to the Upper Peni
