Curry led the NBA in scoring in the 2020-21 season after averaging 32.0 points per game. He was one of two players to average over 30 ppg in the regular season, with the other being Bradley Beal (31.3 ppg for the Wizards). The top-five in scoring that season was completed by Damian Lillard (28.8 ppg), Joel Embiid (28.5 ppg) and Giannis Antetokounmpo (28.1 ppg). Curry also led the league in total points in the 2020-21 season with 2,015.
