SUMMIT COUNTY, Ohio — Following a shooting at an Airbnb party that injured nine people, the Bath Township Board of Trustees released a statement addressing the incident and reminding residents that short-term rentals are prohibited in the township.
The shooting occurred early Sunday, shortly after midnight, at a mansion on Top of Hill Road, which had been rented through Airbnb for a house party. One or more shooters opened fire, injuring nine people. Two of the victims have been treated and released after sustaining gunshot wounds.
