Good weather and the retention of Pennsylvania Supreme Court justices seemed to bring out voters Tuesday morning in Springfield Township.

Construction at the township building moved wards 1-2 and 1-3 to Springfield High School to go along with Ward 1-4, which normally votes there.

Former state Rep. Bill Adolph was on hand volunteering with the Republicans.

As a well-known figure in town he was welcoming voters and directing them to their proper ward. Adolph said that in the 4th Ward voters were picking a commissioner, but the major issue he was hearing from voters was the retention of judges.

“Locally and statewide, it’s very confusing. You have the state supreme court, the superior court and you have the county court, so a lot of people need a little explaining,” he said.
