Two Massachusetts men have been arrested in connection with Saturday’s explosion at Harvard Medical School , the FBI said Tuesday.
Special agents and officers with FBI Boston’s Joint Terrorism Task Force and the Harvard University Police Department made the arrests, the FBI’s Boston bureau said in a statement posted to X.
Authorities have not publicly identified the two men. The FBI promised further details will be released during a 1 p.m. press conference with the U.S. Attorney’s Office.

Harvard University police said the explosion happened shortly before 3 a.m. Saturday at the Goldenson Building on Longwood Avenue in Boston. An officer arrived to find two people fleeing the building on foot but was unable to stop them, university police said .
