Plans to transform rural stables into a family dwelling have raised concerns about potential disruption to a historic Quaker burial ground.
The burial site has been in continuous use since the 17th century, with the tranquillity of its countryside setting being fundamental to Quaker traditions.
However, neighbours are set to arrive.
Two years ago a family received planning permission to build replacement stables on a property next to the burial ground, on Greenhill Lane south-west of Alveston.
Now they have also received permission from South Gloucestershire Council to convert this into a three-bed home.
