SAGINAW, MI — A Saginaw man in February killed his wife and tried to kill himself. He’s now to spend at least the next 17 years in prison.

Michael A. Glenn, 61, on Monday, Nov. 3, appeared before Saginaw County Circuit Judge Darnell Jackson for sentencing. Glenn in September pleaded no contest to second-degree murder and felony firearm in connection with the homicide of his 33-year-old wife, Domonique C. Watson.

“Yeah, uh, I’d like to apologize to the court, to the family,” he said, then took a lengthy pause. “And to my family.”

A staff member from the Saginaw County Prosecutor’s Office read two victim impact statements written by Watson’s mother and younger sister.
