SPRINGFIELD, Mass. (WGGB/WSHM) - A woman who went missing Friday morning who police believed to be in danger, has been found dead, authorities report.
30-year-old Joanna Brown of Worcester was last seen around 9 a.m. Friday at her job at the Bean Counter on Grove Street.
At the time police believed she could have possibly been in western Mass. after learning from her family that she had ties to the Holyoke, Springfield area.
Now, two days after she was first reported missing by her family, the Worcester Police Department says Brown has been found dead in the vehicle she was last believed to be in at the time of her disappearance - a gray Mitsubishi Outlander.
