Few Japanese characters have captured the imagination of fans across the globe like Sanrio's Hello Kitty and Toho's Godzilla . Given the enduring legacy of both characters, it's almost shocking that the two haven't starred together in more crossovers. A new collaboration, however, is looking to change that.

In a post by Godzilla's official Japanese X account , Hello Kitty and fellow Sanrio star Cinnamoroll got a Godzilla makeover. The two tiny kaiju dress in a pair of mean-looking Godzilla costumes, which only makes the pair all the more adorable. The collaboration was revealed in celebration of Godzilla Fest and came with a tease of more Sanrio characters getting in on the fun.
