ENUMCLAW, Wash. — A wind advisory has been issued for inland parts of King and Pierce Counties on Tuesday evening as gusts up to 45 mph are expected in some areas.
The alert from the National Weather Service (NWS) was issued just after 10 a.m. Tuesday, and runs from 6 p.m. Tuesday to 4 a.m. Wednesday. The affected areas include Enumclaw, South Hill, Monroe, Duvall, North Bend and Maple Valley among others.
The NWS says there are winds expected east to southeast between 20 and 30 mph, with gusts up to 45 mph.
Officials say the gusty winds could blow around unsecured objects Tuesday night, and tree limbs could be blown down in some areas. Power outages are possible in some areas.
