A woman was assaulted and robbed in a home invasion in Mount Hope Monday afternoon, and Hamilton police are looking for three suspects.
Around 1:50 p.m. on Nov. 3, police were called to a break and enter at a residence on Fairey Crescent, near Airport Road.
When officers arrived, the occupants of the home told them two men entered the home through an unlocked backdoor around 1:30 p.m., police said. They allegedly assaulted a woman, described by police as elderly, and stole jewelry and other valuables.
They fled through the front door and were seen leaving in a dark blue or grey Chevrolet Cruze, which is believed to have been driven by a third suspect.
The victim was not injured in the attack.
