RENO, Nev. (KOLO) - The City of Reno is hosting its annual Veterans Day Parade Tuesday, Nov. 11. The parade honors our brave military members who have served our country, as well as those currently on active-duty service across all branches of the military. The City of Reno’s Veterans Day Parade has been an annual event for more that 20 years, since 1998.

Reno mayor, Hillary Schieve, and Reno park ranger and veteran Scott Hoffman, stopped by Morning Break to share details of next week’s event.

The theme of this year’s parade is “Service to Our Nation,” recognizing the dedication and sacrifice of our military service members, past and present. The theme honors all branches of the military, uniting them under a shared purpose.
