As many as 6,34,940 voters will vote in the elections to 14 municipal councils and three municipal panchayats in Pune district on December 2, the Maharashtra State Election Commission (SEC) announced on Tuesday. In all, 398 corporators will be elected across 222 wards in these municipal councils and municipal panchayats, according to information provided by Pune District Collector Jitendra Dudi.

Baramati is the largest municipal council with 20 wards and 41 corporators, followed by Phursungi Urali Devachi with 16 wards and 32 corporators.

Out of the total 222 wards, 51 will elect a single corporator, 166 will elect two corporators, and five wards will elect three corporators.

Voting will take place at 730 centres, an increase from 515 centres in the previous elections. There will be 811
