King’s Fork senior Zy’Dar’Eyus Wynn had a game to remember on Friday when he helped the Bulldogs upset then-No. 4 Indian River.
Wynn ran the opening kickoff back for an 85-yard touchdown, had a punt return for 65 yards and finished with four receptions for 52 yards and the game-winning TD from D’andre Artis-Boone in the fourth quarter.
“I’m so proud of Zy’Dar’Eyus Wynn,” King’s Fork coach Anthony Joffrion said. “He’s been hurt and battling a knee injury, and he just wants to play for his teammates. And he’s going to be successful in college because of that.”
Wynn and Artis-Boone hope they can continue the success as they try to lead the Bulldogs to a Class 5 state title.
After that, they’ll both be going to the same college together.
