LAKE FOREST, Ill. — The Chicago Bears have reportedly traded for defensive end Joe Tryon-Shoyinka, according to multiple reports.

In addition to Tryon-Shoyinka, the Bears received a 2026 seventh-round pick. They traded a sixth-round pick to complete the trade, according to ESPN's Adam Schefter.

Tryon-Shoyinka has nine tackles and no sacks so far this season.

The Bears were looking for additional pass rushing help after they lost defensive end Dayo Odeyingbo to a torn Achilles.

Tryon-Shoyinka signed a one-year deal with the Browns during the offseason. He was the 32nd overall pick of the Buccaneers in 2021.

He had a total of 15 sacks in four seasons with Tampa Bay.
