Indian Mining Day (IMD) is observed every year on 1 November to recognise the mining sector’s vital role in national development and to honour the dedication of mining professionals across the country.

To mark this occasion, a pledge was administered at Mine-II on 01.11.2025, affirming commitment to safe, sustainable and responsible mining practices. Senior executives, mining engineers and employees participated in the ceremony in the presence of the CGM & Unit Head, Mine-II.
