Srinagar, Nov 04: Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) Jammu and Kashmir General Secretary (Organisation), Ashok Koul on Tuesday said the party was never against the historic Darbar Move tradition between Jammu and Srinagar. He said that governance reforms under the Modi government have made administration faster, transparent, and more efficient across J&K.

Speaking to reporters in Budgam while campaigning for its candidate Aga Mohsin, Koul said the BJP’s position on the Darbar Move was often misinterpreted. He added that the party’s focus had always been on ensuring effective governance rather than opposing traditions.
