EVANSVILLE, Ind. (WFIE) - This upcoming Veterans Day, the Evansville Wartime Museum is remembering and honoring our nation’s heroes.

On Saturday, November 8, museum officials say they will participate in the Four Freedoms Veterans Day Parade along Franklin Street in downtown Evansville.

“Celebrations like the Veterans Day Parade only carry meaning when the community comes together,” said Meredith Marshall, Events Committee Chair. “We hope to see sidewalks full this year, showing veterans that their service is valued and remembered.”

Then, on Tuesday, November 11, the museum will also host the annual Veterans Day Breakfast.

Officials say a complimentary hot breakfast will be provided to all veterans and their families as a gesture of gratitude for their service.
