TOWN OF LISBON, New York (WWNY) - An Amish woman who was 7 months pregnant died after being kicked in the head by a horse in St. Lawrence County.
Sheriff Rick Engle said it happened along State Highway 68 in the town of Lisbon. He did not disclose exactly where or when it happened.
The woman’s name was not released.
The sheriff said the woman was milking a cow when two horses started fighting, and she was kicked in the back of the head.
A rescue squad took the woman to the hospital, where she died.
