Nearly a year ago, an attorney requested receipts to show how much Harrisburg Mayor Wanda Williams has spent on her legal issues, including defending her in a state ethics violation .
The receipts obtained through a Right-to-Know request were due Nov. 3. But on Nov. 4, election day, the attorney still doesn’t have the information, because the receipts are in the mail.
And it’s all perfectly legal, said City Solicitor Neil Grover.
Harrisburg mailed a thumb drive containing 1,500 redacted invoices related to Williams’ legal defense to Marc Weinstein, who represents the city’s former public works director who has a pending lawsuit against Williams .
