FARMERS BRANCH, Texas - St. Louis' professional pickleball franchise, The St. Louis Shock, won the first-ever Major League Pickleball Cup over the weekend.

The Major League Pickleball Cup, inaugurated this year, is a high-stakes, standalone tournament that ends the Major League Pickleball season, separate from the regular season and playoffs. The three-day event, held at Brookhaven Country Club in suburban Dallas, featured single elimination brackets and brought together the league's top teams.
