Rachel Alltop moved into her 200-year-old farmhouse just a year ago, but her connection to the property runs much deeper.

The Ohio native grew up nearby and remembers visiting the home as a child.

“When I was little, there was an ice cream stand on the property, along with the house!” she tells PEOPLE exclusively. “It was so fascinating, and when I saw it for sale, I couldn’t help myself. I didn’t even really consider the age of the home.”
