COLUMBUS, Ohio — Gov. Mike DeWine ordered that flags are to be flown at half-staff in honor of former Vice President Dick Cheney who died on Monday.
United States and State of Ohio flags on all public buildings and grounds around the state are to remain at half-staff until sunset on the day of his funeral.
According to a statement from his family, he died due to complications of pneumonia and cardiac and vascular disease. He was 84 years old.
Cheney served alongside President George W. Bush for two terms.
