AUGUSTA, Ga. (WRDW/WAGT) - Voters headed to the polls for local elections, with the Augusta Commission District 4 race drawing attention.
Tanya Barnhill-Turnley and Lonnie Wimberly are both running for the seat. Barnhill-Turnley has been in office since former District 4 Commissioner Alvin Mason resigned.
She said one thing she would like to do is bring back town halls to inform the community about what’s happening in the district.
