PHILADELPHIA − One might think the Eagles have already done everything they could leading up to the NFL trade deadline.
In the five days leading up to the NFL trade deadline on Nov. 4, the Eagles traded for cornerbacks Jaire Alexander and Michael Carter, along with edge rusher Jaelan Phillips, thereby addressing their two biggest positions of need.

The Eagles, after all, still have to create roster spots for those three players. So why not trade a player away to get something in return as opposed to just waiving him? No doubt, Eagles general manager Howie Roseman will continue looking for ways to either add to the Eagles' roster and depth, or trade someone away for valuable draft capital. Need a news break?
