SPRINGFIELD, Mass. (WWLP) - A Springfield man was arrested in connection with two kidnapping incidents and multiple firearm charges.
The Springfield Police Department stated that an investigation was conducted into a suspect, 36-year-old Steven Santiago, of two different victims. The first was on October 30th, for alleged domestic violence, and the second, on October 31, involved a firearm-kidnapping.
At around 8 p.m. on Friday, detectives located Santiago on Taylor Street. During the arrest, he allegedly resisted arrest, bit a detective, and broke part of the driver's door. He also admitted to the police that he was on PCP.
"Santiago admitted he was on PCP."
Santiago is charged with the following: • Carrying a Loaded Firearm without a License • Carrying a Firearm without a License
