AMHERST, Mass. (WWLP) - Amherst police are seeking the public's assistance in identifying a vehicle in connection with a hit-and-run crash last month.
The Amherst Police Department stated that on October 9, at approximately 7:13 p.m., a motor vehicle reportedly struck a pedestrian near 200 South East Street. The vehicle then drove northbound without stopping.
The victim was taken to Baystate Medical Center to be treated for injuries. Police used surveillance camera footage and debris to determine that the vehicle involved in the crash was a Toyota Camry manufactured between 2007 and 2011.
