GRAND HAVEN, Mich. — Grand Haven is getting ready to welcome its first ALDI store next week.

ALDI , a supermarket chain known for its low prices and no-frills essentials, will open on Thursday, Nov. 13, at 17233 Hayes Street.

The grocer is inviting customers to celebrate at 8:45 a.m. before the doors open.

The first 100 customers in line will get a gift bag with some ALDI-exclusive products as well as a gift card. Shoppers can also enter the sweepstakes for a $500 ALDI gift card throughout opening weekend.

Hours for this location will be 9 a.m. to 8 p.m. daily.
