Twin Cities staple Jerry's Hardware will close two of its five stores at year's end.
Both the Maple Grove and St. Louis Park locations will close Dec. 31, store representatives confirmed Tuesday.
The Jerry's Hardware stores in Bloomington, Eden Prairie and Edina will remain open.
Jerry's Hardware, which offers a wide range of equipment rental and repair services, are owned by Edina-based Jerry's Enterprises, which also owns Jerry's Foods and several Cub grocery stores.
The stores are also a part of the Do It Best retailers' cooperative based in Fort Wayne, Indiana.
The Maple Grove store is located at 13151 Weaver Lake Rd., while the St. Louis Park store can be found at 2326 Louisiana Ave. S.
