Jimmy Kimmel Live! is doing its part to help those in need during the ongoing government shutdown .

The “ Jimmy Kimmel Live Big, Beautiful Food Bank” will be set up in the late-night ABC show’s Hollywood backlot to benefit the LA Food Bank and St. Joseph Center.

“Cutting SNAP benefits creates uncertainty for American children, seniors and families. To support our community members in need, we’re starting a donation center in our Hollywood backlot to benefit the @LAFoodBank & @StJosephCtr ,” reads a post in part on the show’s Instagram account.

The show is urging those in L.A. to come by and donate food, or if not, consider supporting their local food banks.

The donation center is located at 6901 Hawthorn Avenue in Los Angeles with donation hours from 9 AM to 5 PM.
