CHICAGO -- The Chicago White Sox on Tuesday named Zach Bove as their new Major League pitching coach, while Matt Wise will return for his third season as the White Sox bullpen coach.

Bove, 37, spent the last three seasons as a Major League assistant pitching coach with the Kansas City Royals. In 2025, the Royals ranked sixth in the Majors with a 3.73 ERA (596 ER/1,436.2 IP) while allowing the eighth-fewest home runs (171). Rookie left-handed pitcher Noah Cameron ranked among the MLB rookie leaders (minimum 100 IP) in WHIP (second, 1.10), opponents average (second, .214), ERA (third, 2.99), wins (tied for fourth, 9), starts (fifth, 24), strikeout/walk ratio (fifth, 2.65), IP (fifth, 138.1) and strikeouts (sixth, 114).
