BOWLING GREEN, Ky. — On Tuesday, the president and CEO of the Bowling Green Area Chamber of Commerce, Ron Bunch, resigned.

According to a release by the chamber, over the past 14 years, Bunch’s leadership has strengthened the Bowling Green Area Chamber of Commerce and driven progress across our region.

The chamber states that Bunch’s focus “on collaboration, investment and opportunity has helped make Bowling Green a recognized example of sustainable economic growth.”

During his tenure, the chamber states there have been significant successes, primarily through regional economic development.

The chamber states key accomplishments include the following:

Attracting billions in capital investment.

Creating thousands of jobs.

Earning national recognition as a top-performing economic deve
