LINCOLN, Neb. (KOLN) - Lincoln Police have taken a 17-year-old boy into custody in connection to a pair of stabbings on Halloween.
Officers found the suspect near Lincoln Northeast High School and took him into custody on Monday. He was lodged at the Youth Services Center on suspicion of two counts of first-degree assault and two counts of use of a deadly weapon to commit a felony
On Friday, officers were called to the area of South 40th and Prescott streets on the report of a large party at 9:30 p.m. The caller reported 50 to 100 teenagers being loud.
As officers were responding, a stabbing was reported.
LPD said the suspect and a 17-year-old victim began fighting. The 17-year-old was stabbed multiple times. His serious but non-life-threatening injuries required several staples to c
