Edmonton police say they are looking to speak to two people who they believe might have important information regarding a sexual assault in August.
EPS says the alleged incident happened between 11:15 and 11:30 p.m. on Aug. 22, near Whyte Avenue and 107 Street.
It is believed that during this time, a woman was walking when she was attacked from behind and sexually assaulted.
The woman then screamed and a vehicle that was driving down 107 Street stopped to help her, at which point the suspect fled.
Following this, the occupants in the vehicle offered the woman a ride out of the area.
Police are looking to speak to those two individuals, as they might have key information that could help in the investigation.
EPS says they have investigated other avenues, including canvassing the area
