BREAKING UPDATE: So far, at least three people are dead, 11 injured and there are two missing from a nearby auto shop.

IMPORTANT: There is a shelter-in-place issued within a 5-mile radius of the airport and north of Outer Loop to Jeffersonville, Indiana. South of Outer Loop is clear.

Also, anyone trying to reunite with family should avoid hospitals. Go to the Family Reunification Area at the LMPD Training Facility - 2911 Taylor Blvd.

A UPS plane has crashed at Louisville's international airport, causing an explosion, giant plumes of smoke and fire to spread nearly a mile.
