Two teenage boys from Ponchatoula High School showed their appreciation to veterans by handing out handwritten thank-you cards at the inaugural Ponchatoula Celebrate Veterans Parade over the weekend.

For those interested in supporting veterans, the 3rd annual "Sleep Out 4 Veterans to End Homelessness" event will take place at the American Legion in Covington on November 22, with the program starting at 1 p.m.
