BIRMINGHAM, Ala. ( WBRC ) - The Associated Press (AP) reported that University of Alabama defensive back Dre Kirkpatrick Jr. has been suspended indefinitely after being arrested on Saturday, Nov. 1 .
The news of his suspension was announced by Coach Kalen DeBoer on Monday, Nov. 3.
Kirkpatrick was arrested on three counts of reckless endangerment and one count of attempting to elude and speeding. He was released from the Tuscaloosa County Jail on a $1,500 bond.
Court documents say that three officers were on foot and attempted to stop a white Mercedes sedan which allegedly had been seen in that same area before “excessively speeding”.
