LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WAVE) - Emergency crews have responded to a large fire at Muhammad Ali Airport following a plane crash.
According to officials, calls came in at around 5:14 p.m. of a plane crash near Fern Valley and Grade Lane. Grade lane will be closed indefinitely between Stooges and Crittenden.
Injuries have been reported, but the severity of them is unknown.
The official cause of the crash has not been reported at this time.
A Shelter-In-Place has been issued for all locations within 5 miles of the airport.
