A man is facing charges after an attempted robbery in Clinton, South Carolina, left a woman dead .
Around 9 p.m. on Oct. 3, deputies with the Laurens County Sheriff's Office responded to a report of a robbery and shooting near Coleman Road and Kingsborough Circle in Clinton.
When deputies arrived, they found a woman, identified as Taneal Evans of Clinton, who died from an apparent gunshot wound.
Through investigation, it was determined that Quinjevarious Ta’Marion Tribble of Clinton and Evans were attempting to rob an individual.
During the attempted robbery, the victim of the robbery acted in self-defense, resulting in both suspects being shot.
Following medical clearance on Nov. 4, Tribble has been charged with armed robbery and criminal conspiracy.
