Four new actors have joined Amazon MGM Studios' upcoming Highlander remake starring Henry Cavill. This comes after Highlander was delayed due to an injury that Cavill sustained before filming began. Production was pushed back to an early 2026 start after the remake of the 1986 cult classic film was previously scheduled to begin in September.

Along with Cavill, who is playing the leading role of immortal warrior Connor MacLeod, Highlander 's star-studded cast includes Russell Crowe, Dave Bautista, Karen Gillan, Jeremy Irons, Djimon Hounsou, and Marisa Abela. Crowe and Hounsou's involvement marks a reunion more than two decades after their roles in Ridley Scott's Gladiator (2000).
