We could see a Desert Valley League championship rematch between Yucca Valley and Coachella Valley high schools in the 2025 CIF Southern Section football playoffs. But each team would have to win their first two games for that to become reality.

That would surely be among the more interesting playoff games involving desert teams. There's also a scenario where either Yucca Valley or Coachella Valley could play Desert Christian Academy in the D12 championship game.
