WASHINGTON, D.C. – Jeanine Pirro, The U.S. attorney for the District of Columbia, unsuccessfully attempted to reverse the firings of several FBI agents this week, some of whom were investigating efforts to overturn the 2020 presidential election.
The jobs of the agents were briefly restored Monday, before FBI leadership terminated them again.
Specifically, the agents the FBI wanted removed were involved in investigating potential fake electors casting false votes for President Trump in 2020. Some of them also were involved in the president’s crime crackdown in D.C., which Pirro was a strong proponent of.
