Hendrick Guerrero and Bayron Guardado each generated a goal and assist to spark top-seeded Lindenwold to a 5-0 win over 16th-seeded Pleasantville in a South Jersey, Group 2 tournament opener in Lindenwold.

Guerrero, a senior, has six goals and five assists on the season.

Jamere Bonilla, Marvyn Padilla and Michael Amaya each scored a goal for Lindenwold, which improved its record to 13-6-1 and advanced to host eighth-seeded Middle Township in Friday’s sectional quarterfinals.

Yeison Flores, Christian Hernandez and Angel Bonilla each contributed an assist for Lindenwold, which has won three of its last four, with a lone loss by a 1-0 score to St. Augustine in the South Jersey coaches tournament.

Neyber Padilla made five saves to earn the shutout for Lindenwold.
