EVANSVILLE, Ind. (WEHT) -- Indiana Governor Mike Braun made a visit to Evansville to meet with local leaders.
The visit was alongside the Evansville Regional Economic Partnership's Lunch With the Governor. Braun discussed his administration's plans for the future and the ongoing debate over re-districting.
Braun, along with the Trump administration want to redraw legislative boundaries to squeeze the state's two democratic congressmen out of office. Braun says the goal is to ensure fair representation for hoosiers in Washington D.C.
"When you're not doing what the other side has done you're giving them the benefit of creating an uneven playing field,” says Braun. “And if you don't like their policies it's even worse cause you're letting them dig on that."
