Washington’s Public Disclosure Commission has dismissed a complaint lodged against Vancouver City Council candidate Pooneh Gray.
The complaint, filed Oct. 15 by Vancouver resident Anthony Vendetti, accused Gray of violating a state law by allegedly making false claims in political advertising.
Vendetti filed the complaint after seeing a post on Gray’s social media site that, in his mind, contained false statements about Gray’s opponent in the Nov. 4 election, Vancouver City Councilor Kim Harless.
In an Oct. 10 Facebook post attached to Vendetti’s PDC complaint, Gray references an ethics complaint against Harless and tells would-be voters: “You deserve elected officials you can trust. Unfortunately, Kim Harless has broken that trust by not declaring an obvious conflict of interes
